California Venue Success Story
The challenge:
The challenge:
501 Fun was contacted by a premier bowling entertainment venue in the U.S market seeking to increase revenue by reimagining their space into more of a late-night destination with cutting-edge competitive socialising experiences. Their goal was to diversify their guest profile and attract more couples and groups of young people, while enhancing excitement with their core guest targets of multi-generational families and corporate groups.
How we helped:
Having discussed space requirements and understood the envisioned ambience for the venue, our team advised on purchasing three Augmented Reality Darts lanes to transform under-performing recreational space into a trendy new Dart Bar destination within the Bowling Complex. We demonstrated how to fully customise the interface to complement their brand colours and help contribute to a premium experience which looked like a seamless addition to the space.
Result:
Within 5 months, the venue had achieved full payback on the capital cost of the equipment from lane fees alone, and were benefitting from an increase in footfall and the subsequent sharp uplift in beverage spend. The three lanes generated over 200 combined hours of customer engagement/dwell time in their first month, 230 in their second, and almost 250 in their third. On average, each guest bought 2 beverages, and at least 2 sides, which worked out to $31 per person spent on F&B. The addition of 501 Fun's cutting-edge social entertainment technology was the optimal solution to supercharge their venue, broaden their appeal and create a new and successful revenue stream.
